Hello there, darling followers!
I’d like to apologize– like REALLY APOLOGIZE– for being MIA for so long. Seriously, it’s been like a month.
Life’s been hectic.
I moved to Prague for the next four months to study, so the process of packing, buying everything I need and then getting here took quite some time.
But now I’m here and all settled in, so posts should be coming regularly now.
Get ready for lots of photography and poetry, folks! And I’m hoping to have written a novel by the time I’m on my flight home! (Yeah, okay lofty goals, but I can dream and work my ass off, right?)

Low to the ground with few windows? Or near the sky, characterized by sliding doors and window panes? Ornate and complex? Or maybe quaint and plain? A big back yard? Or maybe it’s small. My thoughts exactly.
“Forego sleep when an idea strikes,” I offered as a writing tip in my opinion writing class a few weeks ago.
It should have been, “If you can’t sleep, write.” ‘Cause that’s what I’m doing right now.
And since I read this article a few days ago, I know I’m simply screwing my brain over by not sleeping right now. So that feels good. Those imaginary garbage men are getting some time off after working overtime to clean out the toxins I accumulated this past weekend.
I’m up because my heart won’t stop racing. I had this same problem when I was younger. My mom would tell me to clear my head and stop thinking so much, but I never could.
Tonight I’ve been overanalyzing relationships I’ve had and imagining new ones.
The unknown scares me, but each day I plunge deeper and deeper into it.

All freshmen at St. Bonaventure University are required to take a University 101 class that teaches them the basics of college life. For my class, I had to do a presentation on myself. This, along with a short verbal addition at the end, is what I came up with.
