My name is H.R. Gordon. 

I’m in the business of storytelling.

I’m here for the imaginative weirdos, the black sheep, the dreamers and the people who want to change the world.

Sitting in Spilt Ink is a gathering of my explorations of the world around me through writing and photography.

I’m the director of marketing and publicity at Buffalo Heritage Press 

I used to edit the Emerging Revolutionary War Book Series and I’ve designed a few Emerging Civil War books.

I earned my B.A. in journalism and mass communication with a minor in women’s studies from St. Bonaventure University in December 2016. I also earned myM.A.  in integrated marketing communications at Bonaventure in May 2018. The following summer I studied at the Denver Publishing Institute, learning the ins and outs of the book publishing industry.
